Red Bull Steal F1 GP Monaco Series From Ferrari, Thanks To Lecrec`s Chaotic Pit Strategy Incident

Soundandmachine.com (Monte Carlo) - As many people was expecting, Monaco Grand Prix would be very interesting because Charles Lecrec start from the pole and carrying so many doubted from many people because of his previous record in Monaco.

The Monegasque never succeeded finish the Monaco GP with his Ferrari and his previous career as Alfa Romeo’s driver. FIA have to delayed the start considering the weather that got worst right before the start.

Cars that were already in starting grid have to go back to the pit lane after doing a lap with safety leading the way. The race finally begun with a flying start, led by Charles Lecrec in P1 with all drivers using a fully wet tyres.

After the track condition soon dry out, many drivers do some pit and change to intermediate tyres except one driver which was Carlos Sainz Jr with his Ferrari.

The Spanish driver insist using his strategy to holding on wet tyres and go straight for a slick dry tyres later on. Carlos was having a thought that the intermediate will soon be replace by slick dry tyres anyway as condition on tarmac drying.

The Monaco Grand Prix seems belong to Charles Lecrec as his Ferrari was in P2 behind Carlos Sainz that is no yet pitted. There was a chaotic moment in Ferrari pit stop and it was an accidental double stacking pit stop.

“Stay out…! Stay out…! Stay out…! Stay out…!” Ferrari race director said. By the time he said it, Charles was already entering his way to pit box. “****!!! What are you doing…???” never ever we heard Charles Lecrec losing his cool in the radio behind cockpit while race session still on going.

The incident cost Ferrari that much, because Carlos Sainz can only manage to get behind Sergio Perez in P2 and Charles Lecrec dropped in P4 behind Max Verstappen. Both Red Bull’s Sergio and Max comfortably get a podium position P1 & P3 with Carlos Sainz in between.
 
Many believed that Carlos had cause all the trouble. But many believed that Ferrari’s team principal Mattia Binotto is responsible for this lost. What would you say about this…? (Febri)
