Through a handicap system based on statistical data developed by CAN International, the competition ensures a level playing field where every car, regardless of its budget, competes fairly in the same class. In essence, even a vehicle with a Rp 50 million audio setup can go head-to-head with one worth billions, depending on the installer’s tuning and installation skill.

“Until now, many tuners were afraid to compete with high-end setups because they didn’t have cars with expensive audio systems. But now, even a car with a 50 million rupiah setup can challenge those worth billions. All cars compete in one class, but high-budget systems receive a handicap,” said Wahyu Tanuwidjaja to Soundandmachine.com (October 30, 2025).

 

In addition to Battle of Titans, ASIA CAN Finals 2025 will also feature two other major categories: the Indonesia Open Master Tuner Cup, open to the general public in Indonesia but not to participants from other countries, and the Asia Master Tuners Cup, where representatives from each nation will compete in a 30-minute installation challenge using a standardized DSP and preset system, a format reminiscent of an audio Olympics.

 

With computer-based objective judging and participation from certified international judges, the ASIA CAN Finals – Battle of Titans stands as a symbol of evolution in the Asian car audio scene.
