SoundandMachine.com (Jakarta) - As a part of ASIA CAN Finals 2026 which will be held on 20-21 October 2026, Car Audio Network (CAN) International challenges car audio tuners through Asia Master Tuner and Indonesia Open competition.

For additional information, Asia Master Tuner is a car audio tuning competition which restricts only 2 competitors per CAN affiliate, whereas at Indonesia Open, anyone can join including the Asia Master Tuner participants.

Besides the track, which will be ‘Chen Ning - Thinking of Your Feeling’, the car audio setups will be different as well, compared to last year.

The organizer just announced the car and its car audio modification which will be used as a car audio tuning simulator, for Asia Master Tuner and Indonesia Open participants, on October 18th 2026.

First, BYD Dolphin which installed Audison Voce 2 3-Way System, Audison APS 10D Subwoofer, digital sound processor (DSP), and power amplifier.

Second, BYD Atto 1 which installed Focal K2 Power 2-Way System, Awave 8 inch active subwoofer, and DSP.

Third, Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix which installed Focal Slatefiber 3-Way System, DSP, and power amplifier to drive 3-Way speaker and subwoofer.

All of those sources can be competitors mobile phone stream thru, USB DAC, Bluetooth direct, or Aux input.

In either the Asia Master Tuner and Indonesia Open, the terms and conditions for competing are the same.

To participate, competitors must use a laptop provided by the organizers; however, they are permitted to bring their own mouse, RTA, and keyboard. 

The session will follow CAN Tune regulations, with preset configurations given, which consists of time correction, all positive phase, decent volume, and crossover in high pass - low pass - band pass 24 dB/oct. 

Before the competition, participants can listen to the car audio for 5 minutes maximum. So be prepared. (Joule)
